Maybe you’ve been coming to VBF for two weeks. Maybe ten years. Maybe you've already tested the waters and you're ready to take the next step in getting more involved with VBF Vegas. How do people get connected and develop friendships in a church this big?
If you are new to Valley, or if you recently became a follower of Jesus, we invite you to attend our next START class. Our START class is taught by one of our Pastors and meets the first Sunday morning of each month, at 9:30AM in the Upper Room. Childcare is provided. The START class provides you with information on how to develop your faith, reviews a brief history of our church, and talks about how to get more involved with the church.
We believe the winning formula for spiritual growth is A + B + C = D

Attend A Service
Valley offers services every Sunday and every Wednesday night. These services feature a time of worship, plus a time of teaching in the bible by one of our Pastors. Sunday services are typically series based and Wednesday services are verse-by-verse teaching through different books of the bible. We encourage you to attend at least one of these services weekly.
Belong To A Life Group
We believe life change happens best in circles not in rows. This is why we encourage everyone who is part of VBF Vegas to get involved in a life group! These are small groups of 8-12 people that meet throughout the week and are life stage based, gender based, or special interest based. For more information on leading or hosting a life group, contact our Campus Director Jerry Johnson by email or by calling 702-254-2251
Commit To Serve In A Ministry
There are many opportunities for you to actively participate within the church as a volunteer. At VBF, we believe that God has given special gifts to all to be used in service for others, as outlined in 1 Peter 4:10 - "Each of you as a good manager must use the gift that God has given you to serve others." God has equipped each of us in a unique way so that there is a place for each of us to contribute something to help make the church great. We desire every VBF attender to find a place within the church to volunteer. It takes hundreds of people each week to put together the awesome services we do here at VBF. From teaching the kids to handing out The VBF Weekly Bulletins at the front door, there are plenty of opportunities to jump right in and start contributing. In the history of VBF, most of the deep friendships formed within the church happened as people served together as volunteers. Check out our website for a complete list of how you can start volunteering at VBF, or stop by the Welcome center next time you are at one of our services.
We are confident that if you commit to participating in each of these three ways at Valley, you will not only meet some incredible new people for your life, but you will also build meaningful friendships with them that will help propel you forward to your God-given destiny and purpose. Take the next step and be a part of the ABCs at VBF.
